We were founded on February 10, 1975 as a community-based organization offering services to promote employment, health and well being and self-sufficiency for the geographic service area of South Sacramento County includes the cities of Galt, Herald, Elk Grove, South Sacramento and the River Delta areas of Isleton, Walnut Grove and Courtland. |

Our Focus
South County Services focuses on the quality of life for residents of
the region we serve. When families, individuals and seniors are in
need, we intend to provide resources and services to help them
move forward.
In addition to responding to urgent daily needs of families, we
sponsor annual fund raisers and provide holiday celebrations such
as our Christmas Basket Give-A-Way. Through the support of the
community, we were able to distribute more than 450 baskets of
food and toys to over 2,000 men, women and children last year.
Children, Adults and Senior Services
South County Services is here to support people through
challenging times and to offer access to emergency basic needs,
transportation assistance and a host of inclusive programs. We
invite you to spend some time on our human resources Web site
and see how we may assist you or someone you know.
We are particularly proud of programs for seniors. By collaborating
with local partners, we offer meals, recreation, medical
transportation and more. The elders of our communities count on
South County services to deliver care and compassion.
We also encourage you to become a volunteer with our
organization. South County Services depends upon the good work
of volunteers from all sectors of the community. Reaching out to
community members in need is rewarding and valuable. We
appreciate our volunteers and celebrate their contributions
throughout the year.
